This video is the sorting site of HSM Heavy Industry’s customer in Lanzhou, China, where the roller crusher is used to crush the gold ore with a diameter of 2cm into 5mm in diameter to meet the grinding requirements, and then enter the ball mill for further crushing and grinding.
The crushing and sorting process of gold ore is the key link of gold beneficiation, aiming at crushing the raw ore to the suitable particle size and separating the high grade gold concentrate or directly extracting gold through specific methods. The following are the main process flow and technical points of gold ore processing:
Gold Ore Crushing Crushing Process
Purpose: Crush the large gold ore to a size suitable for subsequent sorting (usually 0.074-0.3mm).
1.Rough crushing stage
Equipment: Jaw crusher
Particle size requirement: crushing the raw ore to 100-300mm
Characteristics: High compressive strength, suitable for processing the fissure structure in the large ore to release the encapsulated particles.
2.Medium crushing stage
Equipment: Roll Crusher, Impact crusher
Particle size requirement: further crushing to 30-100mm
Optimization point: control the circulating load, avoid excessive crushing.
3.Fine crushing and grinding
Equipment: High Pressure Roller Mill, Ball Mill/Rod Mill
Target particle size: grinding to 0.074-0.3mm (-200 mesh accounts for more than 60%)
Key parameters: grinding time, steel ball ratio, need to avoid over-grinding leading to gold mineral sludge.
